The Art of Lynn Hanley

Color, movement, music, structure:

I have spent the greater part of my life weaving these elements together. And in doing so, I have created unique paintings, works on paper, and sculpture. 

     Art is my all and  everything; My world is filled with color and shapes. This passion has spilled over into illustrations for children's books, color cut-out greeting cards, murals and ceramic tiles. 

   Writing  is another passion. "They Called Her Moses", is a screenplay about the great American hero, Harriet Tubman. "Threads" is a slim volume of personal essays. "When the Streetlights Come On", is a hand illustrated book for children   between the ages of five and eight.
